PT(G) - Planting the Goal

Everyone needs goals.

Period.

It's why we have traditions like New Years Resolutions.

This year, why not set a goal for your garden or yard? It doesn't have to be big, but it needs to be something that takes some effort and time. Even if it's just one hour a week, that's good enough!

So go, right now, and look at your garden or yard. Go! I'll wait.

...

...

...

Are you back? Okay. Now, what did you see: out of control shrubs, crab grass, weeds, a big blank space that needs to be filled, unwanted mushrooms, or the same ol' yard you're tired of looking at?

Pick out one thing, just one thing that you want to change. For the more ambitious, you can choose one thing for spring, add one on for summer, then autumn, and finally winter. By the end of the year, your yard or garden will be looking better than ever!

So what's your goal? Share it with your friends, spouse, and kids! The more people you tell your goal to, the more motivated you'll be to accomplish that goal. Everybody needs accountability. So get out there and spread the word.

Say, "World, my name is _______________, and I'm going to ____________."

Then you do it; just one hour a week.

Share it with us and we'll help keep you on track. Post in the comments what your goal is and we'll help to remind you all throughout the year!

So get out there and get some dirt under your nails!
